ABOUT US

Kino is a contemporary Japanese restaurant located on Draycott Avenue in Chelsea. Led by Chef Pavel Baranovs, the restaurant presents a refined and expressive interpretation of Japanese cuisine, shaped by seasonality, provenance and a philosophy of restraint. 

The menu combines traditional Japanese techniques with globally inspired influences, particularly from Europe, resulting in dishes that are bold in flavour yet elegant and precise. Fermentation, head-to-tail cooking and carefully sourced ingredients form the foundation of the kitchen’s approach, with produce selected at its seasonal peak to deliver depth, aroma and clarity of flavour.  

At Kino, every element is considered. From the menu to the design of the space, the aim is to create a dining experience that is thoughtful, balanced and quietly distinctive.
